2010 Wolftrack Classic Race Purse Updated 2-18-2010
Vet Checks
Attention all Mushers and Teams signed up for the races! If you have not signed up for a Vet Check, NOW is the time to do it! Currently we have about 18 teams that are not yet signed up for Vet Checks. If we do not receive a sign-up from a team by March 1st, we will send you an email with your scheduled time. We do not have the staff or the space to do all the Vet Checks at the same time for all 64 teams registered.

There are four (4) time slots available. Twenty-one (21) teams for each time slot:
9:00am - 10:30am
10:30am - Noon
Noon - 1:30pm (Full)
1:30pm - 3:00pm (1 Spot Left)
Just send an email to mush@wolftrackclassic.com with your name and time requested. Mushers coming to Ely from Northeastern Minnesota, we ask you to please schedule your Vet Checks during one of the morning slots. Afternoon slots should be used for those teams coming from farther away areas like Wisconsin, Canada, and Southern Minnesota and Michigan. We are honoring requests on a first come basis, so sign up today! If a time slot is full, you must choose a different one.
Vet Checks are mandatory and will take place on Saturday, March 6th, 2010 in the parking lot of the United States Forest Service Kawishiwi Ranger Station. 1393 Highway 169, Ely, MN. (Directly across 169 from the Wolf Center.) Restrooms will be available.
♦ Race registration is closed! We have a total of 64 teams registered. Thanks everyone for the great turnout!!
♦ No refunds for Entry Fees will be issued after February 19th, 2010.
10-Dog Race
♦ The 10-Dog Drivers Meeting will be held Sunday, March 7th, from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in Ely, MN. This meeting is mandatory for all 10-Dog Drivers.
♦ The 10-Dog Race will start at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 7th in Ely.
♦ 10-Dog teams will be required to take a race total of 8 hours (plus differential) rest, and may do so at any of the three checkpoints along the trail (Tower-outbound, Cook, Tower-inbound).

6-Dog Race
♦ The 6-Dog Drivers Meeting will be held Sunday, March 7th, from 7:30am - 8:00am in Ely, MN. This meeting is mandatory for all 6-Dog Drivers.
♦ The 6-Dog Race will start at 9:00am on Sunday, March 7th in Ely.

Adventure's Gala
♦ Attendance of the Team Driver at the Adventure's Gala is Mandatory.
♦ Team Driver's will be presented with their Official Racing Bib at this event.
