2012 Trail Maps
Below are the Race Trail Maps for the 2012 race. (Files are PDF format)
♦ The race start will be held in the same location as last year, at the softball fields in Ely, MN (Hwy 1 and Old Airport Rd). The trail from Ely to Tower will remain the same as the last 4 years for each race. Running on the Taconite Trail and taking the short spur trail into Tower. For the 150-mile race, the trail has changed from Tower to Cook. (See map) Leaving Tower on the spur trail, the race trail continues on the Taconite Trail in a southwest direction to the WolfTrack Trail. At that point the race trail leaves the Taconite Trail and follows the WolfTrack Trail northwest into Cook.
