♦ Remember the last day to register for the WolfTrack Classic Sled Dog Race is February 15, 2012
♦ Attention Mushers and Race Enthusiasts! The WolfTrack Classic Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the 5th annual running of the WolfTrack Classic Sled Dog Race will be once again held in Ely, MN on February 25th - 27th, 2012. Vet checks and the Adventure's Gala will be held on Saturday, February 25th. On Sunday, February 26th the racing excitement starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
♦ We have selected a new route between Tower and Cook that should provide a more scenic and rewarding trail for the driver and team. See 2012 Race maps Officially this new route to Cook will make the total race length just under 140-miles.
♦ Race start times for each race will now alternate from year to year to allow the fans from the city of Cook a greater chance to participate in the 150-mile race. For the 2012 season, the 10-Dog, 150-mile race will start in Ely, MN at 9:00 AM, and the 6-Dog, 30-mile race will start at 1:00 PM that afternoon.
